DOG LIFE DAYS

Digital video feature/total running time 00:03:41:05 (00:01:30:00)/Picture: still video footage, morphing/
Sound: audio sample, effects

This is a piece from the series of my works in which art is used for the exploration of the boundary fields of art. Sustained by the convulsive repeatedness of the sound structure, the video contents suggest the primitive notion of artwork, but also indicate a kind of tart humour toward the wulgarity of existance and the banal sense of everyday life. Title references: Dog Star Man - a film by Stan Brakhage (1964) and Dog Man Star - a record by Suede (1994).
